Christopher Scott
Owner & President, Board of Directors
Chris is from Liverpool, England, home of the best football team in the world! In his early career he worked in investments in the financial district of London on the money markets.
After moving to America in 2001 he immersed himself in the world of IT, Recycling and Data destruction, owning and running a successful Maryland-based operation which grew to have multiple US locations. In July 2021, Chris, his wife and children relocated to Florida ready to take the next challenge of owning and overseeing the running of the Beach Theatre and is loving every moment of it! He is an avid traveler and mountaineer who loves techno and dance music.

Shana Nichols
Executive Director
Shana is a Tampa Bay native with a diverse background in entertainment. She is passionate about bringing independent film and storytelling to Florida screens. After earning a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Communication, Journalism and Film Studies from Florida Atlantic University, she worked on the television set at the St. Petersburg-based Home Shopping Network. She went on to produce hundreds of live events at venues along Florida’s Gulf Coast working with Encore, a global event production company. She has also served as the Technical Director at three Florida film festivals over the last decade. At heart, Shana wants to carry on the Beach Theatre legacy by creating enjoyable and safe cinematic experiences for the community, children, and beachgoers alike.

Joey Hager
Director of Operations & Programming
Joey was born and raised in Clearwater and has spent his entire life on one side of the Bay or the other. He has managed movie theaters across Pinellas for years, and can’t wait to bring his passion and expertise to the Beach! An avid student of film from every time period and corner of the world, he intends to bring a diverse and eclectic mix of programming to his hometown cinema, and share the rich history of the medium with his community. TCM is always on in his house, and his favorite thing to do is watch a movie with his dog, Bashful, and a glass (or two) of wine.

Hendrik Bisanz
Drawn to the water, Hendrik is fortunate to call Treasure Island home. A native German who left his home country to work and study in New York, Mexico City, Spain, and the Netherlands, Hendrik speaks three languages and possesses a sympathetic mix of traits: German "discipline and punctuality", New York "grit", and Latin "easy-going attitude". Like the theatre, also located on Corey Ave is his Real Estate brokerage SEASALT Properties, which he co-founded in 2017.
When Hendrik isn't selling Real Estate, he enjoys the Florida weather on the water and on land, preferably with his family and friends and some Reggae tunes.
Favorite films: Aladdin, Pulp Fiction, and Austin Powers
Thomas Brodersen
Tom Brodersen started his career in radio broadcasting at the age of 15 when he began full-time as a DJ in Knox, Indiana. He earned degrees in Speech & Theater / Communications at the University of Illinois and Law and DePaul College of Law, working as a Chicago police officer. He opened his law office on LaSalle Street downtown in 1982.
Moving to Florida to join his family in real estate, he became a broker and real estate instructor, and joined the Florida Bar in 2005. He and his wife, media lawyer Pat Anderson moved their office from downtown St. Petersburg to St. Pete Beach. Located on Corey Avenue since 2015, Tom enjoys a lifetime interest in media, as well as amateur astronomy, physics, technology, and music.
Favorite films: The Lion in Winter, Joe Versus the Volcano, and 2001: A Space Odyssey
Jack Kline
As Chairman/CEO of Christie Digital Systems until April 2019, Jack Kline was a pioneer in digital cinema technology and the architect of the innovative Virtual Print Fee (VPF).
For 40 years at Christie, Kline was responsible for acquisition strategy, including the purchase of Canada's "Electrohome Systems" in 1999, and the first OEM of Texas Instruments' DLP Cinema® technology. The move catapulted Christie from a 35mm projector manufacturer to a global provider of digital projection solutions and created dramatic growth, with revenue surging from several hundred million to nearly a billion dollars.
Jack holds a BA degree in Psychology from the University of Tampa, and was a Combat Engineer Officer, US Marine Corps, 1972-1976, earning an honorable discharge as Captain. Jack has 2 daughters and resides in Newport Beach, California, as well as Madeira Beach, with his wife of 49 years, Betsy.

Joe Restaino
As the founder of Hungry Bull Productions, Joe has produced and financed films over the past decade that have gone on to receive awards and nominations that include the Gotham Awards, the National Board of Review, and Critics Choice. In 2021, Joe produced Pig for NEON and Passing for Netflix, the latter of which premiered in the Narrative Competition at the 2021 Sundance Film Festival. He is a proud member of the Producer's Guild Association.
Favorite films: Swingers, Rocky, and The Usual Suspects
